Meet George Ertas - our Finance and Cost Control Lead, who recently celebrated his one year anniversary with Vision Infrastructure.
George is a highly driven financial and commercial executive who has managed multinational companies in commercial and strategic management roles. He has a proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing key projects that improve and grow enterprises. George has a wide range of financial and operational experience, demonstrating his ability to learn quickly, provide value, and execute complicated projects effectively.
He has over 20 years of expertise in construction, rail, environmental technology, telecommunications, electrical and HVAC, manufacturing, and engineering services, ranging from corporate finance to commercial operations functions. George holds a masters in operations and logistics and Six Sigma Black Belt. He successfully connects with and supports critical business strategies and forms vital partnerships with organisational leaders. George holds distinctive skills in finance and accounting, including effective working capital management. He has managed procurement and logistics services, as well as directly negotiated supplier and outsourcing agreements in various capacities.
George has most recently worked on major projects in resources sector as a cost control lead, oversees the financial course of the entire project.
George’s experience is extensive. He has overseen large property portfolios, IT deployments, M&A activity, procurement, finance, and administrative teams, as well as Six Sigma improvement programs. He has experience across the entire project reporting lifecycle including project setup and reporting, budget submission, monthly reporting, board reporting, and yearly audit compliance. He shows passion for continuous development and has a record of success in building and leading high-performing teams devoted to providing zealous cross-functional services to companies.
