About the Role
Vision Infrastructure has undergone unprecedent growth since its establishment and is looking towards even stronger growth in the 2023. As a result we are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team and support new and existing clients across the markets that we represent.
Reporting to the Legal Director, this role is accountable for:
Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport, renewables and resources
Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts (including upstream, downstream and consortium arrangements)
Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
Providing advice and attending claims in regard to SOPA (across all jurisdictions)
Providing advice on disputes, from navigating contractual dispute resolution procedures through to litigation
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Law with a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in either private practice or in-house infrastructure legal team
Experience in both front-end and back-end matters (a mixture of both would be highly advantageous)
Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
Experience across a range of high value projects and contract models
Drafting expertise in construction contracts, contract claims, contract notices, advices and briefs
Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise and work well in pressured and unpredictable environments
A "Can Do" attitude to consistently ensure the completion of the daily workload
